My name is Jules and I have been a professional photographer for 10 years now - although I have always had a camera in my hand since I was a young girl.
Photography has always been such an important part of my life and I am blessed to be able to share my passion with others.
I have an incredibly successful wedding photography business and have always captured families along side it.
This is me with my firstborn. I'm now a mother to two beautiful girls. What a blessing it is.
The Studio...
I had always dreamed of having a family studio. Whilst I have spent years capturing families in their own homes, I knew that there was a particular aesthetic that I wanted to create and repeat.
I spent time researching spaces to rent and could never find what I was truly looking for. I wanted to utilise natural light and create images that were completely different to 'studio' images.
I am best known in the wedding industry for my use of light and it's something I wanted to bring through into family photography - so the space had to be just right!
It wasn't until we moved into our dream home in Yarm, North Yorkshire, that I had a lightbulb moment and realised I had the perfect space right in front of me.
And that became The Natural Baby Studio. A cosy, home from home, relaxed and special place for parents to bring their children.
No harsh studio lights or strange surroundings. No gimmicks, costumes, strange props or poses. Just a beautiful and calm studio in my home ready to welcome families and create timeless, fine art pieces to treasure.
